Stephanie Norris
Barre Instructor
I took my first Bar Method class in June of 2009 and knew it was something that was going to be part of me for the rest of my life. Before Barre, I had always been an avid exerciser and a former marathon runner, but no matter what I did, I always had the tendency to bulk up. Workouts had also always been challenging because I suffer from scoliosis pain. A one-hour, non-impact, total body workout that was going to change my body and help manage my back pain sounded too good to be true! Within my first 2 weeks of taking class, my daily back pain was gone, and I was hooked. I trained to be an instructor in 2010 and have been teaching ever since. I hold a BA in History from Bradley University, Peoria, IL and a Masters in Education from National-Louis University, Chicago, IL. Teaching allows me to share my passion with others and see their amazing transformations inside and out! When I am not at the studio teaching or taking class, I can be found working my day job as an interior designer or moonlighting as a visual merchandiser or carting my two girls around town to their various activities. I am so happy to be included in this dream team of fitness instructors, see you in class soon
